Unlike other tax items where you have to wait for 1099s' or bank statements, you can code all of your Crypto and Defi as soon as the ball drops on new years and get a good estimate of where your taxes lie. [Summ] is still my first recommendation for tools.

I literally could not function without [Summ]. I've got multiple assets on multiple blockchains doing 5-10k transactions a year. Doing that by hand would be pure insanity.

Just did my crypto taxes with [Summ] and got my report summary. Overall, very pleased with the process! Highly recommend if you have not yet decided on what crypto software to use. Did my taxes in a few hours and going to my tax guy tomorrow.

Called my tax accountant to warn him there will be some crypto and NFT stuff this year. His reply wasn't what I expected: “No worries, know all about them! My 13 yo daughter creates NFTs and sells them on OpenSea. And we use [Summ] for our clients” Boom! I chose well 💥💥

A cryptid is tentatively back from hiatus but will be keeping update frequency low rn. Uncle Sam unretired me 4 a mission to JPN so had to finish taxes early. Got it done thx to [Summ]. I have no affiliation w/ them. Pls just keep it alive🙏

What if I have more than 200,000 transactions?
If you have over 200,000 transactions, even up to one million, we offer custom solutions to support your needs. Contact us to discuss a solution that's right for you.
What data do I need from the client?
We provide a detailed list of instructions for each exchange that you can share directly with your client. Once they complete the instructions, you can then import that data into the app.
Can I invite clients to the portal?
Yes, we have an optional feature that allows you to invite clients into the app, so that they can enter their data directly. You can then review the transactions with the client.
Do you separate short-term and long-term capital gains?
Yes, we separate capital gains to take into account long-term capital gains.
Do you separate by financial years?
The one accountant package covers all financial years for all clients. The report calculates taxes for each individual financial year.
Is the accountant portal free?
Yes, it is! You can add clients, import, review, and reconcile data before payment. Access to the reports page is charged annually per client based on their transaction volume. You can access example reports for free.
What is the experience for clients?
Your client's first experience with Summ will depend on whether or not they are an existing user or completely new to the platform.
How does billing work?
Your credit card is charged the first time you pay for access to a client's reports page. The second client onward is billed end-of-month, then annually. Clients who pay for the subscription before accepting an invite will hold the annual subscription.
Is my client's data safe?
Yes. Being SOC 2 Type 2 compliant, we have all the right tools and procedures to safeguard sensitive information, meaning customers can feel confident in entrusting us with their data. Learn more about Summ's security measures.
